Nelly has spent most of her career working at the intersection of data and human well-being. Born in Bulgaria, she has made Geneva her home for many years. Nelly currently works as a Senior Data Analyst at the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), where she has spent over a decade designing and leading large-scale research studies across some of the world's most underserved communities — from Sub-Saharan Africa to Central Asia. Her work is grounded in a deep belief that good data, in the right hands, can change lives.
Nelly brings to Mater Fondazione the same passion for evidence-based impact, alongside a commitment to social inclusion that she has carried throughout her career — working hand in hand with the local community partners who are at the heart of Refettorio Geneva's network.
